Our Journey So Far...

Rootz Tuition Centre was founded in June 2022. Before starting the academy, Akila worked as a Maths Tutor at Bhagavan Higher Secondary School, Tiruvannamalai for three academic years (2019–2022).

During her M.Phil studies, she also taught Abacus at I Math Academy (2017–2019). The centre was started with her husband in the devotional town of Tiruvannamalai with the purpose of offering strong educational coaching at an affordable fee.

The institute crossed 20+ students in the very first month. From the second year onward, dedicated sessions for Class 10–12 were started. In 2025, early morning batches (5:30–7:00 AM) were added due to parent requests.

In December 2024, Rootz Tuition Centre became Rootz Academy after Abacus was added into the curriculum — continuing its commitment to helping students grow with confidence and clarity.
